Integrating with MCube IVR
If your team uses MCube for cloud telephony, this integration connects it with telecrm — so all your calling happens right from your CRM, and every call flows back into it automatically.
Once it's set up, your agents can trigger outbound calls with a single click, receive inbound calls routed to the right person, and have every call — inbound, outbound, or missed — logged straight onto the correct lead, complete with duration, agent details, outcome, and recordings. You can even create new leads from unknown incoming callers, so no enquiry slips away.
Steps to Integrate MCube with telecrm
Section 1 — Prerequisites needed from MCube Dashboard
- Before starting, log in to your MCube dashboard and collect the following from your Account Settings, API Settings, and Developer section:
- API Key
- Inbound Number — the DID number used for incoming customer calls.
- Outbound Number — the caller ID shown on outbound calls.
- MCube Version — whether your account uses a Hardphone or Softphone.
- Agent MCube Number — each agent's individual MCube phone number.
- Agent MCube Email — the email registered for each MCube agent.
- If your MCube plan supports only incoming calls and you don't have a dedicated outbound number, simply use the same inbound number as the outbound number during setup.
- Confirm your MCube version before proceeding, whether it's a Hardphone setup that uses physical phones or a Softphone setup where a browser-based or desktop calling app is used. If you're unsure, contact your MCube account manager.
Section 2 — Start the Integration in telecrm
- Open the telecrm web app and log in with your admin credentials. Navigate to Integrations → look for the MCube integration and click on the Activate option to open the MCube integration page.
- Click on the Configuration page.
- Enter your integration details, which are collected on Step 1 from the MCube dashboard:
- API Key — paste the key copied from MCube (this lets telecrm authenticate with MCube).
- MCube Inbound Number — the DID number for incoming calls
- MCube Outbound Number — the number that should appear as the caller ID on outbound calls.
- MCube Version — select Hardphone or Softphone based on what you identified earlier.
- If you don't have a dedicated outbound number, use the same inbound number in the outbound field too.
Section 3 — Add and Map Your Agents
- Now map your telecrm users to their MCube agent accounts. Click Add Member, choose the telecrm team member from the dropdown, then enter that agent's MCube number and MCube email ID.
- Enable the Sim Calling toggle to enable the sim calling and click Add. Repeat this for every team member who will use MCube calling inside telecrm.
- To verify these details, open your MCube dashboard and go to the Users or Agents section, where you can view each agent's number and email ID. IMPORTANT: Make sure you add all calling agents — calls won't sync for unmapped users — and that each MCube email matches exactly, as email matching is case-sensitive.
Section 4 — Configure the Webhook and Save
- telecrm will now generate a unique Webhook URL. Copy it — MCube uses this endpoint to push Call Data Records and sync after-call events into telecrm automatically. The URL is workspace-specific, so don't share it publicly, and don't close the screen before copying it.
- Click Save.
- The integration is now active on the telecrm side — outbound calling works immediately, but call-data syncing will only begin once the next step is completed by the MCube team.
- Share the copied Webhook URL with your MCube Account Management team, and request that they configure the push webhook for after-call and call-hangup events — covering answered, missed, inbound, and outbound calls.
Section 5 — Verify the Integration
- To verify, make a test call using a mapped MCube agent, then open telecrm and go to the lead timeline. Within a few seconds of the call ending, you should see the call logs, agent details, call duration, feedback, and recording, which can be downloaded when needed, and timestamps all synced automatically.
Key Takeaways:
- The same agents must exist in both MCube and telecrm before mapping, with emails matching exactly.
- Call logs won't sync until the MCube team successfully configures the webhook.
And that's all you need to understand about how your MCube integration is connected with telecrm.
Once everything's in place, your team has a complete calling setup running through telecrm — with every conversation tracked, logged, and ready whenever you need it.
