Configuring Team Hierarchy
Adding users to your workspace is just the first step. The next is telling telecrm who reports to whom. If your team works in a Manager–Caller structure, telecrm lets you map this chain of command in just a few clicks. Once it's set up:
- Each Manager sees the leads and reports for their own team
- The Super Admin gets a clear view across every team and every manager
In this video, we'll show you exactly how to set up your reporting hierarchy.
Now that the team members have been added successfully, you may proceed with configuring the Manager and Caller reporting hierarchy by following the steps;
- Navigate to the Settings section in telecrm web application.
- Open the Users page.
- Click on the name of the user who has a Manager role assigned.
- Click on the “Edit User Details” option.
- Open the Reportees section.
- Select the callers who will be reporting to this manager.
- If this manager further reports to a senior manager, you may assign the hierarchy by using the “Reporting To” option.
- Select the respective senior manager’s name.
- Finally, click on the Save Changes button to complete the hierarchy configuration. Once completed, the reporting structure will be successfully mapped within the workspace.
And that's all you need to do to make your reporting hierarchy live.
From here on, telecrm handles the rest automatically. Every dashboard, lead view, and report will follow this structure.
One thing to remember: whenever your team changes — someone joins, switches roles, or moves teams — just head back to the same Users page and update the Reportees or Reporting To fields.
