Creating Custom Call Feedbacks
A calling team's day is packed with calls — but what really matters is disposing of each one into the right feedback.
Here's why: not every call gets connected. And for those attempted calls, it's important to capture why they went unanswered — was it a network failure, the phone was switched off, a busy tone, incoming calls unavailable, call forwarding, a wrong number, and so on.
When your callers log these reasons accurately, you get a clear picture of what's actually happening on the ground — instead of just knowing a call didn't connect.
In this video, we'll show you how to set up custom call feedback for your workspace.
Let's dive in.
Steps to Configure Call Feedback Options in telecrm
- Open the telecrm web application.
- Click on the Settings option.
- Click on the Call Feedback section.
- All the default system call feedback options will be displayed here. These are the predefined feedback categories available for your calling activities.
- Click on the Plus (+) icon to create a new feedback option.
- Enter a name for the feedback. For example, you could add options like NETWORK FAILURE or NO INCOMING SERVICE — create feedback that matches your business calling workflows and operational requirements.
- To rearrange the options, simply drag and drop them into the order you prefer. This lets you place frequently used feedback at the top for quicker access.
- If a feedback option is no longer needed, click on the 3-dot menu next to it and select Archive. This hides the feedback from active view without permanently deleting it.
- Now, let's see this call feedback in action. We attempted a call that didn't connect because of a busy tone — so we can now dispose of it directly into the "NUMBER BUSY" feedback.
And that's all you need to do to set up custom call feedback in telecrm. Now your callers can quickly dispose of every call into the right reason — connected or not — so no attempted call goes unexplained. Over time, this builds into clear, reliable data that tells you exactly why calls aren't connecting and where your team should focus next.
