Enabling the Activity View

By now, you know what Activity View is and how helpful it is for reporting. Now, let's put it to use.

In this video, we'll show you, step by step, how to turn on Activity View in your workspace. Then we'll see how to choose the activity you want to track, pick the columns you need, and apply filters to get exactly the results you're looking for.

Steps to Enable the Activity View

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click on Preferences.
  3. Scroll down and turn on the toggle for Activity View.
  4. By default, the system selects Payment and Facebook activities. You can choose up to 5 activities for your independent view.

Steps to View the Activities

  1. Let's see where you can find these activities.
  2. Click on the Filters icon and open the All Leads page.
  3. The Leads View is shown by default.
  4. To change it, click on the Add icon.
  5. Select Activity View.
  6. Choose the activity you want to track.
  7. For example, let's select the Demo Form Filled view.
  8. To set up the table columns so they match the fields in your Demo Form Filled Custom Action, click on Columns.
  9. At the top, you'll see the lead fields. Unselect any that you don't need.
  10. Scroll down to the Activity Columns section and select the fields you want.
  11. In our example, we selected Industry, Sub-Industry, and Action Performed By.
  12. Your view is ready, and it fully covers your Demo Form Filled activity.

Steps to Apply Filters

  1. Use filters to get exactly the results you need.
  2. Click on the Performed On option and choose the time period you want to report on.
  3. For example, let's find out how many demo forms were filled this year by leads from the Education industry.
  4. Select Performed On: This Year, then click on Add Properties to pick the fields from your Custom Action.
  5. Choose Industry is → Education.
  6. You can now see all the matching leads from the Education industry for which the Demo form was filled. Each Activity is shown as a separate record here.
  7. That's how you can filter to find any result you need, and click on the Save View option to save this reporting view.

And that's all you need to understand to enable the Activity View. All your important activities, like payments and demo form submissions, now sit in one simple view.

No more opening leads one by one. Just pick the activity, choose your columns, apply a filter, and get your answer in seconds. Set it up once, and reporting becomes quick and easy.
