Field Category View Setup

Ever opened your Lead Fields list and had to scroll... and scroll... just to find one field?

As your workspace grows, so does your list of fields. Without proper structure, finding the right field can quickly become a cluttered experience.

With Lead Field Categories, you can now organize your fields into clear, meaningful sections — such as Primary Contact Info, Requirement Details, Live Status Details, and more.

Let us go over the steps to set them up.

Creating a New Field Category

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click on Lead Fields.
  3. Open any existing lead field.
  4. Click on Change Category.
  5. Select Create New Category.
  6. Give your category a name — for example, let's create two new sections: "Course Details" and "Demo Details."
  7. Add a short description for the category if you'd like. This step is optional.

Renaming Existing Categories

  1. Want to rename a default category? Just click the Edit icon next to it.
  2. For instance, rename "Primary" to "Contact Details" or "Primary Contact Details."
  3. This gives you complete flexibility to label your sections exactly the way your team understands them.

Assigning Categories While Creating New Fields

  1. You can set the category for a field right when you create it.
  2. Click on Add a New Field.
  3. Name your field and choose the relevant field type.
  4. Then, pick the category that best fits this field's purpose.
  5. This way, every new field lands in the right section from day one — no cleanup needed later.

Editing the Category of Existing Fields

  1. Click on the field name, then select Change Category.
  2. Choose the new category and save your changes.

Searching Fields on the Lead View Page

  1. Now let's look at the final result — every field neatly placed under its section: Primary Contact Details, Course Details, Demo Details, and Other.
  2. Use the search bar to instantly find any field by name, without having to scroll through the entire list.

And that's all you need to do to set up your Lead Fields categories in an organized and flexible manner.

No more hunting through one long list. No more explaining "where's that field again?" to every new hire. Just clear sections, quick search, and a workspace that stays clean no matter how much it grows.
